Our research
Why was this group formed?
During the last years, lung transplantation (LOTX) and research on LOTX has undergone many changes. The clinical programme has been growing and expanding, and the research focus was on clinical trials.
What is the overall aim?
With the expansion of the programme, the following research topics were defined:
- Clinical/epidemiological research involving patients on the waiting list for transplantation and treatment after LOTX, both pharma sponsored as well as investigator initiated.
- Infectiological research in patients before and after LOTX
- Immunological research in patients before and after LOTX
