About Ir. F.J.A. (Freek) Relouw

Freek Relouw is currently employed as a PhD candidate, focusing on enhancing methods for the detection and treatment of sepsis. The optimization of antibiotic dosage for sepsis patients poses a significant challenge, owing to the rapid physiological changes observed in these individuals. Employing a variety of techniques, spanning from mechanistic models to data-driven approaches, he aims to gain deeper insights into the dynamics of the disease, with the ultimate goal of developing novel methods to optimize and personalize treatment for each patient.
